We started out in the brick and mortar retail business in 1996, launched our e-commerce division in 2008, and have quickly become one of the largest hair retailers in the country.

At Black Hairspray, we believe that the only thing to differentiate us is with great service and principles. Everyone can sell the same products at the same price but we are the first and few to offer 30 day returns, price matching guarantee, in-house live chat customer service available almost 24 hours/day but we need sleep too, and free shipping on US mainland orders over $70 and under 15 lbs. We have grown quickly from our humble beginnings but we’re moving forward with a wider selection with the opening of our new distribution center in New Jersey with room for growth. Every month we are growing our selection of same day shipping products that allows us to ship orders out the same day when ordered before 3PM EST. We DO NOT like to wait weeks for our stuff when we shop online so we don't think you should either. We’re always eager to hear all positive and negative criticism as we’re not perfect but we want to work towards delivering the perfect look for you.
