Afro or tame...it's all good! Review by Gtea: I chose this hair specifically to emulate my natural hair texture: a nice, big, curly fro. With some manipulation (braid out, twist outs), it does just that. I have had this hair for 3 weeks and it gets just as big as when I first had it installed. However, beware of product build up in this hair: wash it almost as often as you would your own hair.
It can safely and effectively be colored - I rinsed mine a copper red and the color is still here, even after having been washed earlier today (wash it before coloring to rinse off the processed layer so color will actually sit on the hair). If going for a tamer curl, keep this hair hydrated! Wash and go keeps this hair somewhat low maintenance. Cantu leave in works well after having wet the hair. Aloe vera gel is also effective. I have in two packs and the hair still achieves the tamed curly look when wet and moisturized. When defangling, hair should be wet or you will only succeed in knotting the hair. Do not sleep on this hair without securing it via twist or braids or however you choose or it will tangle. Roller sets look gorgeous on this hair. Everyone I've encountered gushes over how beautiful 'my' hair is. It is worth the money and I believe I can expect this to last another install or two. (Posted on 5/23/11)
Fabulous Hair!! Review by Eclass215: This hair is wonderful. Looks very natural and easy to maintain - just make sure you keep it detangled! I use Cantu Shea butter after I wet it and if I need to refresh the curls and it feels and looks great. So many compliments and I love it! (Posted on 7/13/10)
BoBraz Review by BoBraz Did Not Disappoint: I read about BoBraz on some haircare forum and decided to try it out. The hair is good quality BUT it sheds...a lot. Every time you brush it it sheds and don't let it get tangled because you will have a brush full of hair.
This hair is also high maintenance (as wet and wavy hair tends to be). A cheap conditioner, water, and a Denman brush will be your best friend to keep your hair from looking crazy. It's best to brush the hair while dripping wet. I put a small amount of conditioner in my hands and run it through my soaked hair and then brush. The hair dries soft and the curls don't frizz out. And don't forget girls, two-strand twist the hair at night to avoid tangling.
BoBraz also has a tendency to get very big so be sure not to install more than one pack of this hair because you will look like Chaka Khan (unless of course that's the way you want to rock it).
The good thing about BoBraz is that if you have 3c hair, it blends beautifully; like its growing out of your scalp. Everyone I talk to tells me how beautiful my curls are, and I just smile and say thank you.
Another good thing is that you can straighten the hair, although I personally don't like the way the hair straightens. I wouldn't recommend straightening the hair; let it be curly and wild.
It's great for summer styles and in all likelihood, I'll be wearing this hair again next summer. (Posted on 7/7/10)

Brazilian Wave Review by Ms. J-Vette: Finally tamed the curls using curl activator gels. Feels like I have a giant afro. This does tangle in the back, but, with a denman brush, it detangles beautifully. I love the curls, but can only handle half the volume. Be sure you get someone who has worked with this hair to install it, they may be able to minimalize the volume, because by lunchtime, you can look like a wild, natural woman.
